The
workshop was established in 2005 and is the first of its kind in the
Czech Republic.
We gained our yurt-building skills and knowledge in France where we
had the opportunity to work alongside an experienced craftsman who has been involved in
the trade for more than 20
years.
In a short time The Workshop under the Hill has constructed many high
quality yurts that have been delivered to satisfied customers all
over Europe.
The workshop is situated in the scenic little village of Nedvězí
close to Dubá in the protected landscape area of Kokořínsko (Northern
Bohemia). You can learn more about the history and the surroundings of
our village at www.nedoweska.org.
The workshop is situated in
a half-timbered
cottage from the end of the 19th
century – it´s an old agricultural complex. The hill from which our workshop
derives its name is called the Triangl and is 458 meters high. From its
top there is a beautiful view in all directions. View the panoramic photo
(will be soon here).
